Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a valued client seeking an Accounting & HR Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with both accounting and human resources functions. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with HR administration, policies, and employee-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Support accounting reporting and general ledger maintenance
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial transactions

Human Resources Support

• Assist with maintaining and updating the employee handbook
• Provide administrative support for HR policies and procedures
• Support employee records management and HR documentation
• Assist with onboarding and general employee communications
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices

Qualifications

Required

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with NetSuite or a similar accounting software/ERP system
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative experience
• Exposure to HR processes, policies, or employee relations

Experience

• Open to entry-level candidates with relevant education or internship experience
• Candidates with 1-2 years of accounting or office experience are encouraged to apply
