Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mids Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed Emergency Department with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Manage a diverse patient population with common diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic conditions
• Operate department equipment including tele-med cart, Baxter IV, and Omnicell; document care using Meditech EHR
• Provide weekend coverage, with an expectation of at least 3 weekends per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday preferred)
• Float as needed to ICU, CCU, or Medical-Surgical units
• Maintain ACLS and PALS certifications as required for this role

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic care
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP certification preferred
• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a family-oriented, community-focused care environment
