Senior Tax Accountant

A nationally recognised top 100 public accounting firm is looking to add a Tax Senior to its growing team in Massachusetts . The Role As a Tax Senior, you'll take ownership of client engagements from planning through to completion while working with a diverse client base across a range of industries. Responsibilities include: Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, trust, and multi-state returns . Lead tax engagements from planning through completion while managing budgets and deadlines. Research complex tax issues and provide planning strategies to clients. Respond to IRS and state tax authority enquiries. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff. Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value. What We're Looking For 2+ years of public accounting tax experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred). CPA licence or actively working towards CPA certification. Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess or similar. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
