Life is short, so why not work somewhere that makes you happy?RoleManage client assignments and projects, while delivering a high-quality serviceOversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliatesReview various types of tax returns including individual, corporate, partnership, and trusts and make recommendations and decisions that reflect client needsEnsure the accuracy of tax provisions and returns including documenting supporting tax positionsConduct tax research and provide effective solutionsSupervise and provide assistance to tax associates and managersPrepare high-quality, practical tax planning approaches for various client tax needs and situationsMaintain and develop business relationships with WVC clientsParticipate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firmOpportunity to coach, advise and support team members with meeting both client and professional-development expectationsRequirementsA proven track record of preparing and reviewing complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returnsExperience conducting tax research and a solid foundation of tax-related technical knowledgeDemonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlinesAbility to problem-solve and think both creatively and logicallyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCPA or working toward CPA certificationA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplineBenefits & PerksOur commitment is to continually invest in our people, both professionally and personally.
