Store Associate | The UPS Store

Position Summary The UPS Store Associate delivers world-class customer service while assisting customers with shipping, printing, packaging, mailbox services, and other business solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.

· Process shipping transactions for UPS and other carriers.

· Package items securely to ensure safe delivery.

· Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and document finishing services.

· Manage mailbox rentals and related customer requests.

· Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions.

· Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and inventory levels.

· Answer customer inquiries regarding shipping rates, delivery options, and store services.

· Promote store products and services to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is a plus.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Basic computer and office equipment proficiency.

· Ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods.

· Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
