Electrical Engineer II

Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for an Electrical Engineer, Tucson, AZ. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will: Supports production by quickly assessing hardware issues, identifying required information and available resources, prioritizing urgency, and defining a clear path for troubleshooting and resolution. You will communicate action plans effectively with cross functional teams and provide ongoing status updates through issue closure.

• Resolve production and supplier issues through hands on troubleshooting and coordination of corrective actions

• Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparation of change packages for review boards

• Diagnosing hardware failures using electronic test equipment and analysis tools

• Analyze defects and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring issues

• Collaborate with suppliers, develop Statements of Work (SOWs), and support electrical engineering activities in a production environment

Full time contract Clearance: Active/ Interim Secret Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift

You should have:

• Experience testing and debugging digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed signal circuit card assemblies or electro mechanical systems
• Hands on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay range: DOE $70 to $90 per hour
