Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX.What You Will DoThe Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ is a multi-discipline organization responsible for designing, building and integrating state of the art testing environments (flight simulators for missiles), as the last step before flight test.  On our team, you will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter. This role is 100% on-site at our Tucson, AZ campus. As an Electrical Engineer at Raytheon you will:Work on a multi-disciplined team to support systems integrationSupport troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment Work in a lab environment integrating software, firmware and hardware in support of complex systemsQualifications You Must Have:Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start dateExperience with systems requirements, systems integration, systems test, systems software, and/or systems hardware.Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.Qualifications We PreferExperience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzersExperience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
