Role Description The Patient Services Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Charleston, SC, responsible for overseeing patient dining operations and ensuring an excellent foodservice experience that supports healing and comfort. Daily responsibilities include managing patient meal service, supervising patient services staff, coordinating menus and diet orders with clinical nutrition and nursing teams, and monitoring food quality, timeliness, and accuracy. The role involves implementing service standards, addressing patient feedback, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety and sanitation guidelines. The Patient Services Manager will participate in staff training, scheduling, and performance coaching, while collaborating with hospital leaders to support patient satisfaction and continuous improvement in service delivery. Qualifications Strong patient service focus with skills in Patient Care and Quality Patient Care. Experience supporting or coordinating Direct Patient Care activities with clinical teams. Demonstrated ability to provide Training, coaching, and development for front-line staff. Background working alongside Nursing or within a healthcare environment is highly beneficial. Previous leadership experience in foodservice, patient services, hospitality, or healthcare operations. Knowledge of basic nutrition, therapeutic diets, and hospital foodservice workflows is a plus. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
