Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shifts

What You'll Do:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems including ammonia/glycol chillers, DX units, and phoenix units
• Service pneumatic systems such as air units, Gardner Denver units, and air compressors
• Work on electronic systems like PLC panels and electrical panels ranging from 480V to 120/277V, ensuring all electrical components function correctly
• Maintain and troubleshoot water treatment systems, high/low-pressure pumps, filters, cooling towers, and waste water systems
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on boiler systems, including gas lines, steam lines, and deaerator tanks
• Respond swiftly to emergency repairs, ensuring safety and minimal downtime
• Adhere to all food safety and personal safety protocols while maintaining high-quality standards

Required Skills:

• 1-3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Proficiency in using manual, power, and safety tools
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting (experience with electric meters, ladder logic, or diagnosing motor issues is a plus)
• Familiarity with handling chemicals safely as per SOPs and SDS

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Knowledge of ammonia and glycol chillers, PLC programming, or electronic troubleshooting
• Certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance
• Experience with water treatment or boiler systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
• 1-3 years of hands-on maintenance or technical experience in an industrial environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts as scheduled (2:00 PM 10:30 PM or 10:00 PM 6:30 AM)
• Must be drug-free and committed to safety and food quality standards
• Willingness to learn and ask questions about electrical meters, ladder logic, and motor diagnostics to enhance troubleshooting skills
