Job Description

Full Time Medical Assistant needed for busy spine surgeon in South OKC

Responsibilities:

Room patients
Obtain vitals, initial reason for visit and documenting patients in EHR
Administer injections and perform X-Rays
Scan documentation into EHR while maintaining efficient patient flow throughout clinic
The Medical Assistant will also assist with triage calls, medication authorizations and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic) a plus
Must be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities while working well in a team environment and exhibiting a strong work ethic
Applicant must be reliable, have excellent people skills and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)
