Market Development SpecialistThe goal of this role is to drive more meetings to the outside sales reps, and to improve connections to prospects to increase net new sales revenue. A Market Development Specialist plays a crucial role in the sales process, primarily focused on the early stages of the sales funnel. In this key role, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails. Your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities and qualify leads for our sales team. You will conduct research to identify prospective clients, pinpoint key decision-makers, and engage them in insightful conversations to understand their needs and effectively present our solutions. You will collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies, continuously refining your approach based on feedback and market trends. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.Key responsibilities include:1. Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue potential customers through various channels, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.2. Internal Runbooks: Create runbooks with the necessary details for sales success, including call and meeting scripts, and processes.10. Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed established targets for lead generation and qualification to contribute to the overall success of the sales team.Success in this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
