Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections and diseases

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address areas for improvement in infection control practices

• Conduct training sessions and provide education to staff on infection control procedures and best practices

• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines and regulations

• Develop and maintain effective staff development programs to ensure ongoing education and training for all staff members

• Monitor and report on infection rates and trends, and make recommendations for improvement

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our residents and patients

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland

• Experience in infection control and staff development in a healthcare setting

• Strong understanding of infection control guidelines and regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Infection control certified
