Designer Location: Litchfield, MN Job Id: 2480 # of Openings: 1 Responsibilities Use engineering principles that meet company design standards as well as Federal and State requirements. Prepare designs and detail drawings from sales orders. Investigate, assess, and implement change requests. Assist production to resolve various design issues that may arise. Assist the part sales and warrant department with questions that may arise. Work independently or in a team setting. Qualifications Proficient with 3D CAD software (Solidworks preferred). Proficient with 2D software such as AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to work in an organized fashion with little direction. Math skills associated with mechanical design. Ability to follow processes and procedures to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
