Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab/EP Tech to perform advanced cardiovascular procedures. The candidate will support device implants and ablations, ensuring optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as GE Innova X-ray and MacLab Hemo System.
• Prepare and maintain procedural rooms, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and communicate findings to healthcare team.
• Support patient preparation and post-procedure care to enhance patient comfort.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RCIS or RT(R)(CV) certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or EP lab setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in device implants and cardiac ablations (SVT, Afib).
• Maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong technical skills with cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic systems.
