Psychologist opening - Spring Valley, NY A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Rockland and Sullivan Counties is seeking a Psychologist to join its Behavioral Health team. With over three decades of experience delivering high-quality, accessible care to underserved and high-risk populations, this well-established center offers an excellent opportunity for mission-driven professionals.The Psychologist will provide mental health services for a wide variety of psychiatric conditions, including evaluations, diagnosis, therapy, and collaborative treatment planning. Position Details

• Conduct patient interviews and perform psychological evaluations
• Diagnose mental health disorders and develop treatment plans
• Deliver individual psychotherapy and behavioral interventions
• Refer patients for additional care when appropriate
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure integrated care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold confidentiality
• Help clients adjust behaviors and address emotional challenges
• Participate in organizational operations and support compliance
Requirements
• Valid NY State Psychologist License and board certification
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of post-licensure experience
• Proficiency in diagnostic methods and evidence-based treatment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
