Title : Receptionist Location : Saint Cloud, Minnesota Job Type : Contract (6 weeks) Compensation : $18 - $21.22/hr Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am - 4:00pm Industry: Retail About The Role Our client is a well-established organization in the retail and grocery industry with a strong regional presence and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both customers and employees. They are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at their corporate office in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming environment while providing essential administrative and operational support across the organization. Job Description The Receptionist is responsible for delivering a warm, professional, and welcoming experience to all guests, employees, and partners. This individual will manage incoming communications across multiple platforms, including phone, email, and internal messaging tools, ensuring inquiries are accurately and promptly routed. The role also supports daily office operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting reception area, café, and shared spaces, as well as monitoring and restocking supplies to ensure a safe and functional workplace. In addition, the Receptionist provides administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar coordination, meeting and conference room scheduling, and meeting preparation and logistics. The position collaborates closely with administrative teams on day-to-day operations and special projects and supports Human Resources initiatives through data entry, document management, engagement and recognition programs, and special projects. This role also administers the companywide name badge program, maintains company directories, coordinates vendor material distribution, and provides backup support for mailroom operations, including mail sorting, distribution, and package handling. The Receptionist may assist with planning and executing company events and activities, supporting logistics, setup, and follow-up. Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple communication channels and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency with common office tools and technology (email, calendars, messaging platforms)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience supporting executive leadership or Human Resources teams
- Familiarity with office operations, facilities coordination, or mailroom support
- Experience assisting with company events or employee engagement initiatives
- Prior experience in a corporate or multi-department office environment
