This per diem opportunity seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide professional coverage from August 3rd through 7th, working first shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately under the direct supervision of the manager
• Counseling patients on medication use and regimens to promote effective treatment
• Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to organizational policies
• Maintaining stock levels and carefully managing controlled drug records and inventories
• Addressing patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license with relevant state credentials
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing software; familiarity with Pioneer is preferred
• Strong communication skills for patient counseling and problem resolution
• Attention to detail in medication handling and inventory maintenance
• Ability to work independently following manager direction

Location:

• Position is based in Norristown, PA, with coverage required in Philadelphia during the assignment period
