Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance, following direction from teachers and support staff
• Assist with students’ daily routines and transitions throughout the school day
• Implement behavioral support strategies and adhere to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to complete a TB test per district guidelines
• Able to stand, walk, and help with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances (or willingness to secure prior to starting)Preferred experience includes working in educational, behavioral health, or child care settings—especially supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges. Additional credentials such as CPI, PMT, or RBT are a plus, but not mandatory. A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach is essential.
