Position Overview: The CFO will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role will focus more on finance than accounting and will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial future. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's business objectives and growth plans. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to guide decision-making. Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company’s assets and interests are protected. Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and financial impacts of strategic decisions. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategy to the executive team, board of directors, and other key stakeholders. Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine financial systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the homebuilding or construction industry. Strong understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and financial analysis. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
