Cardiac Rhythm Management Principal Clinical Specialist

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The role provides technical, educational, and operational support to drive CRM sales and customer service objectives, requiring extensive territory travel and clinical expertise in cardiac device therapies.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for CRM devices including system checks, implant support, troubleshooting, and device interrogations
- Coordinate operational activities including patient documentation, inventory management, software maintenance, and daily coverage logistics
- Educate physicians, hospital staff, and field teams on CRM products, therapies, and patient management solutions
- Support sales objectives by identifying customer opportunities, monitoring competitive trends, and providing market feedback
- Travel extensively throughout assigned territory (approximately 80% of time) to support customer clinics and hospitals
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 11+ years healthcare/field sales experience, or associate's degree plus 9+ years, or bachelor's degree plus 7+ years
- Current or prior IBHRE (NASPE) certification
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 40 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8+ hours daily, and work in clinical environments with radiation exposure
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, life sciences, or biomedical engineering (preferred)
- 7+ years cath lab, EP lab, or hospital cardiology experience (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with cardiac device interrogation and EP/cath lab procedure participation (preferred)
