Aircraft Technician

Perform heavy phase preventative and regularly scheduled maintenance on charter aircraft every 150 hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide line service, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft and/or aircraft systems and components.
• Efficiently repair aircraft discrepancies while properly documenting all work performed.
• Use comprehensive test equipment and special tools to complete inspections.
• Research inspections, repair criteria, and repair parts requirements using computer systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect, rig, and adjust flight controls and control cables.
• Conduct phase inspection and repair on Cessna 560 aircraft.
• Perform annual inspection on piston engine aircraft.
• Remove, install, rig, and adjust engine controls.
• Re-fuel, de-fuel, and test aircraft fuel systems and components.
• Conduct aircraft pressurization checks.
• Perform engine run-up and taxi checks.
• Execute sheet metal repairs.
• Remove, clean, repair, and install upholstery.
• Disassemble and assemble main landing gear wheel assemblies.
• Conduct altimeter and transponder recertification.
• Perform RVSM recertification.

Essential Skills:

• A&P License
• 3+ years of experience on corporate jets (ideally Challengers or Gulfstreams)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Wide body experience
• Inspection Authorization (IA)

Work Environment:

Work in a small shop within a business aviation environment, currently operating a fleet of 13 aircraft with plans to grow significantly. The team consists of 20 people, including 15 technicians. The work schedule is a 10-hour day for 4 days a week, Tuesday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with the possibility of working one weekend a month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
