ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Project Executive at BOWA Construction, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-value construction projects across multiple regions and market sectors. These projects may include commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, aviation facilities, residential developments, other complex construction and mission critical projects. This executive leadership role requires deep expertise in construction, strong operational oversight, and the ability to manage projects within diverse and highly regulated environments. You will be responsible for overall project performance from preconstruction through closeout, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, owners, design partners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role also supports market growth, procurement strategy, client development, and company-wide operational initiatives across BOWA's portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client & Stakeholder Leadership Serve as the primary executive point of contact for our clients, owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and other key project stakeholders. Lead executive-level meetings, progress reviews, and planning sessions to ensure alignment on scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and project requirements. Support business development efforts across commercial, healthcare, K-12, aviation, residential, and other key market sectors by strengthening client relationships and identifying repeat and future opportunities. Project Oversight & Execution Provide strategic oversight across the full project lifecycle, including preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, procurement, construction execution, and closeout. Lead the successful execution of complex construction projects while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, permitting requirements, quality standards, and project-specific regulatory requirements. Partner closely with field leadership and project management teams across regions to drive performance, accountability, safety, quality, and collaboration. Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact cost, schedule, quality, or client satisfaction. Mentor and oversee senior project managers, project managers, project engineers, superintendents, and support staff across multiple projects and locations. Facilitate regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to build strong and capable project teams. Foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, accountability, safety, collaboration, and excellence throughout all phases of project delivery. Financial & Operational Excellence Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, billing, cash flow management, and overall profitability. Lead contract strategy, subcontractor negotiations, procurement planning, and vendor partnerships across various project types and market sectors. Ensure project financials align with company goals, reporting standards, contractual requirements, and executive leadership expectations. Review project performance and establish corrective strategies when projects are not meeting financial, schedule, or operational objectives. Innovation & Process Improvement Champion the use of construction technology, lean construction principles, and industry best practices to improve project delivery and operational performance. Drive continuous improvement by implementing systems, processes, and lessons learned across projects to improve consistency, efficiency, quality, and outcomes. Collaborate with executive leadership and project teams to identify opportunities to improve BOWA's construction operations, project delivery processes, and client experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

12+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction, with demonstrated experience managing complex projects across multiple market sectors. Proven track record managing complex construction projects valued at $50M+ from preconstruction through closeout. Strong understanding of construction requirements, including regulatory compliance, permitting, safety, quality control, scheduling, and project-specific requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary project teams across multiple geographic areas and market sectors. Advanced knowledge of contracts, procurement strategies, scheduling, construction operations, and financial management. Experience working across multiple sectors such as commercial, healthcare, K-12, aviation, residential, or other complex construction environments is highly valued. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead executive-level discussions, build strong client relationships, and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED, or other relevant industry credentials are preferred.
