Fellowship Program Details

Shift Requirements: 40h/week (includes weekends)

Fellow Compensation: $104,000 annually + benefits

Program Length: 8-10 months

What You'll Learn

Provide exceptional treatment, collaborative care options, including physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment
Order and interpret lab results and EKGs, manage patient panels and close preventative care gaps
Triage and manage patients thoroughly and efficiently, maintaining a steady flow to avoid long wait times
Perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, and minor surgical procedures, such as wound closure and management, I&D, foreign body removal
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as aspirations and injection of joints, bursas, and cysts
Perform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers/toes, including nursemaid's elbow reductions
Apply and modify braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliances

About You

Physician Assistant: Medical/Master's degree with a valid state license and national certification
Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license
Must be willing to obtain DOT certification prior to start date
Eligibility for and willingness to obtain DEA registration, controlled substance license, and BLS certification prior to employment start
