• Schedule: Hybrid; M-Th in office, Fridays remote (8a-5p)
• Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
• Pay: $70.00-80.00/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview
The Sr. Tech Project Manager is responsible for delivering complex large-scale Ecommerce software development across multiple disciplines within an assigned portfolio. This role blends program and project management and delivery, coaching and development of team members, and financial and business acumen. The role ensures on-time and on-schedule delivery while working closely with Product, Technology, and Design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate scope definition, cross-functional estimates and high-level planning workshops
• Quantify cost factors to deliver program and project deliverables including resources, program and project oversight, objective risk and related contingency
• Document key assumptions and dependencies established through estimation activities
• Prepare and present high-level plans with estimates for executives and cross-functional leaders
• Create full-scale master program and project schedules and communication plans consisting of multiple projects or components
• Confidently lead and drive cross-functional projects, components of large programs, and full programs through the full delivery life-cycle
• Communicate regular status updates to executive leadership on delivery progress, plan updates, and budget forecasts
• Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation
• Supervise and coach delivery project managers and assist with staffing, onboarding, and training

Required Skills

• Direct management and accountability for single project budgets of $5–10M in labor
• Program accountability for program budgets of $11M+
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience in program and project management
• Strong leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary digital teams
• 2–5 years of Agile delivery experience
• Strong experience gathering and developing requirements
• Mobile application delivery experience (iOS and Android)
• Client management experience delivering internet solutions
• Experience working in a matrixed responsibility organization
• Extensive experience in estimation, planning, resource management, risk management, and change management

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required

Preferred Skills

• Executive presence with strong negotiation and communication skills
• 10+ years of program management experience in digital or technology projects
• 7+ years of Agile delivery experience
• Senior executive-level communication experience (VP, SVP, EVP)
