What You'll Do

• Provide anesthesia for adult and adolescent surgical cases (13+) in high-acuity inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage regional and general anesthesia techniques, including complex cases (e.g., oncologic, gallbladder)
• Float between multiple hospital and ambulatory surgery center sites, including Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, and Burlingame
• Work independently in the OR, often solo, with occasional oversight of CRNAs
• Cover hospital ORs with a focus on general cases and regional procedures when applicable
• Maintain documentation and order entry in EPIC EMR system
• Support a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient safety and quality care

What You Need

• Medical license in California (active)
• DEA registration with Schedule 2/2n authorization
• Board certification in Anesthesiology (or eligible with fellowship training)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent perioperative experience in tertiary care environments
• Experience with high-acuity inpatient procedures (ASA 3+) highly preferred
• Ability to work solo with confidence in a high-pressure hospital setting
• Strong communication skills, ability to coordinate across multiple facilities
