Physician - GI/Advanced Endoscopy - Royal Oak, MI

Corewell Health WBUH seeks a highly skilled and compassionate interventional gastroenterologist to join an established gastroenterology team at the Royal Oak campus, approximately 30 minutes outside of Detroit. This large academic medical center with more than a thousand inpatient beds serves as a tertiary referral center for the region. Responsibilities Evaluation and management of patients with pancreaticobiliary disorders, including the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Involvement in clinical trials, inpatient consults, and rounds on the hospital interventional gastroenterology and general gastroenterology consultation services. Teaching of gastroenterology fellows, residents, and medical students, and participation in tumor boards. Direct engagement with referring providers and other clinical collaborators. Additional related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications BE/BC in Gastroenterology with Advanced Endoscopy. Completed an additional year of Advanced Endoscopy fellowship training prior to employment. Interest and experience in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Unrestricted Michigan MD/DO license and DEA authorization. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including empathetic communication and respectful listening.
