Cardiac Anesthesiologist Locums Job in Missouri

Coverage needed: Starting ASAP and ongoing, general coverage with cardiac coverage every 3rd week Facility Details/Specifics:
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM until cases conclude (typically around 5:30 PM). 50-hour guarantee available. Providers should expect to work approximately 10 hours/day and generally will not be released early.
- Majority cardiac with some general anesthesia coverage.
- Cardiac call is 24/7 every third week. Call runs Monday AM to Monday AM and includes the weekend. Client reports there are rarely any after-hours or emergent cardiac cases.
- General anesthesia, general surgery, bariatrics, GYN, urology, ENT, ortho, ortho spine
- Cardiac, vascular, thoracic plus cath lab cases etc.
- During general coverage weeks, physicians are primarily doing their own cases and take one day of call per week (rotating/unpredictable day).
- Physicians stay in-house until the day's cases are completed, then take home call overnight.
- CRNAs take labor epidural call at night. Physicians are expected to return for C-sections and OR cases after hours when needed.
