ABA Behavior Technician

Part‑Time Position Hours: Monday through Friday 12:30pm - 6pm and Saturday 9:30am - 1:30pm About Neurodevelopmental Services Our unique Neurodevelopmental Center offers group services for children and adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental challenges that are not available elsewhere. We use an ABA model that includes play‑based, compassionate, naturalistic teaching approaches. 1:1 aides support clients who need more help to participate in therapeutic learning groups, and we offer intensive parent training groups. Overview This position is eligible for a hiring incentive of $3,000. Compensation Initial compensation ranges from $23.43 to $24.60 per hour, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations. 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions. Under the direct supervision of the clinical program management team, provides naturalistic developmental and behavioral interventions such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) positive behavior supports and intervention strategies for individuals with neurodevelopmental challenges, including autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and related diagnoses. Collaborates with multidisciplinary ABA team and implements clinical treatment and behavior support plans for children and families in a variety of settings, including homes and community environments. Responsibilities Provide group ABA services to assigned clients across a variety of treatment modalities under supervision of the multidisciplinary clinical program management team. Provide occasional individual ABA services under supervision as needed. Integrate feedback from clinical supervisors to deliver high‑fidelity, effective clinical services. Record data, including video, for all treatment goals using electronic data collection systems (e.g., Catalyst). Model, teach, reinforce, and implement behavioral interventions and skill development plans with individuals, caregivers, and support networks. Assist supervisors with plan development, reports, and assessment tasks. Assist teams in developing program materials (e.g., lesson plans, visual schedules, social stories) to create individualized, strength‑based strategies that promote positive behavior change. Actively participate in supervision, team meetings, in‑service training, client progress meetings, and other key meetings as assigned. Proactively identify potential conflicts and communicate with clinical supervisor within 24 hours. Coordinate services with other providers to support individuals and caregivers. Qualifications High school degree. Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board preferred. Ability to speak, write, or read additional languages preferred. Pass First Aid/CPR certification. Pass Registered Behavior Technician certification. Pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance. Duties include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Ability to move quickly/run and, when required, lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision capabilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
