Position - Travel - RN - Labor/Delivery (707) - HCA Florida Northwest - 7:00AM - 7:00PM (1031081)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· BLS, ACLS, NRP & Intermediate AWHONN PRIOR to submission

· Fetal Monitoring

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Same as above

· 2 years current acute care L&D experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Monitor both mother and baby, pre and post birth, physicals, diagnostics, perform tests on newborns, epidurals, detailed record keeping

· Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs, follows physician orders, administers medications, monitor vital signs, instructs and educates patients/families

· Critical thinker, emotional empathy and stability, excellent communication skills

· Nonjudgmental, ability to multi-task, used to being around traumatized family member
