What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological assessments and screenings for inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and security staff
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention services
• Make rounds in confined housing areas to assess inmate well-being
• Ensure continuity of care through documentation and follow-up
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and legal standards in correctional health settings

What You Need

• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist
• Experience in mental health assessment and counseling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations
• Knowledge of correctional facility procedures (preferred)
