Banquet Food Server

Our banquet team is looking for a courteous and attentive server who can provide our guests a great experience at special events. Our banquet servers are responsible for serving food and beverages to guests, clearing plates and silverware, and ensuring any special guest needs are met. This position requires a team-first approach since you'll be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff to ensure the event runs smoothly. Responsibilities: • Review relevant food handling safety regulations to ensure that you and your team are following them • Deliver and serve appetizers, main courses, condiments, desserts, and other side dishes, as well as drinks to guests • Take away plates from the table, replace utensils, and keep an eye out for spills or other special requests from guests • Provide excellent service to all guests from start to finish of special events • Assist with serving drinks by, carrying coffee pots, water pitchers throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed Qualifications: • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Experience working in food service is preferred • Display superior communication and interpersonal skills interacting with guests and coworkers • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Compensation: $10 hourly plus tips
