Senior Analyst, Demand Planning Requisition Number: 19905 Contract Type: Permanent Location(s): Chicago, US, 60606; Chicago, US, 60606-7205 As a Demand Planning Analyst, you will collaborate with customer sales, program management, engineering and procurement teams to ensure equipment and resources are available to meet installation and maintenance needs. Our goal is to install SES on as many aircraft as possible, acting as the bridge to translate sales commitments and product upgrades into solid purchasing and delivery plans through the S&OP process. This activity drives our success and directly impacts revenue generation and cost control. Without a highly functioning demand plan, we will fail to service our customers and meet our financial goals. Primary Responsibilities / Key Result Areas Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents to create a single version of the truth for planned installation & upgrade demand schedules and other sales activities to drive core business decisions through the S&OP process. Lead cross‑functional IPTs with accounts, program management, and operational teams to provide program health for Airline Fleet specific parts based on product lifecycle planning and engineering certification schedules. This includes identifying risks and opportunities for purchasing and LRU planning, and coordinating new purchases to ensure PO coverage for demand over the rolling 12 months. Collaborate with Linefit customers to efficiently supply equipment to global assembly lines under strict regulations, harmonizing essential spares planning in multiple locations. Coordinate with procurement & purchasing to ensure receipt timing meets the demand schedule and adjust receipts as needed. Coordinate with W‑IFE and warehouse teams to manage high volume monthly forecasts and execute shipments for customers worldwide. Provide continual improvement of planning, reporting, and communication processes, including publishing weekly Itasca and Amsterdam Kit on Dock and On Time shipment metrics. Continually review processes and systems to identify opportunities to minimize wasteful spending and optimize resources. Work with the accounting team to ensure the completeness of monthly financial statements and variance explanations. Superior verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees, both internal and external customers, including presentations, written reports, and spreadsheet analysis. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, or related field. 5+ years’ experience in supply chain planning in an MRP‑driven environment. Proven customer advocate experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
