EVS ATTENDANT

Job Summary Keep all areas of the property clean and clear of debris, creating the first and lasting impression for guests when entering and leaving our property. Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned areas, including washrooms, slot machine areas, garbage cans, and floors (vacuum, sweep, mop, shampoo, wax, spot removal). Use and work from ladders. Set up banquet rooms and other functions as directed. Move and carry supplies around the property as requested. Use and operate tools and equipment as trained. Monitor and correct any conditions not meeting department standards. Maintain standards established by the department Director. Perform all tasks that may be assigned in the future. Ensure mobility throughout the shift and ability to lift, carry, and manipulate supplies up to 40–50 lbs. Handle cleaning equipment, chemicals, cleansers, and solvents. Communicate directly, telephonically, and electronically with guests, management, and staff. Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications Must obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License. Physically mobile, able to stand or walk for 8–12 hour shifts. Excellent guest service and communication skills. Ability to work in areas with dust, varying noise, temperature, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and air quality. Read, write, and speak English. Lift up to 50 lbs. Work well with others and handle stressful situations. Work flexible shifts.
