VP of Finance

Immediate is seeking a VP of Finance to lead the company’s forward-looking finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, liquidity management, and capital raise efforts. Working closely with our Controller, who oversees accounting operations, historical reporting, and GAAP compliance, this leader will focus on where the business is going and what capital is needed to support its growth. The VP of Finance will lead lender relationships, diligence materials, capital models, and credit facility strategy to support Immediate’s Earned Wage Access business model. This person will also support future equity capital needs in partnership with the CEO and executive team, while serving as a key member of leadership and a strategic finance partner across the business. Location: Birmingham or Atlanta-preferred Responsibilities Own Immediate’s forward-looking finance function, including budgeting, financial modeling, and long-term financial planningLead both credit and equity capital raise efforts, including outreach, negotiations, and executionBuild and maintain relationships with banks, private credit funds, specialty finance lenders, and other capital providersManage Cash Flows by monitoring liquidity, capital availability, borrowing capacity, and future funding requirementsPrepare lender, investor, board, and executive-level financial materialsPartner with the executive team on capital allocation, pricing, unit economics, and growth planningProvide financial insight to Sales, Partnerships, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teamsBuild dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership visibility into financial performance and key financial business driversRequirements Experience in finance, capital markets, private credit, investment banking, fintech, specialty finance, lending, payments, or a related fieldStrong financial modeling skills, including forecasting, cash flow modeling, scenario analysis, unit economics, and capital needs analysisExperience working with lenders, investors, board members, and executive leadershipStrong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skillsHigh ownership mentality, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive financial and capital markets informationBenefits Compensation: Competitive salary and stock option grant.Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plus 401(k).On-Demand Pay: On-demand access to your earned wages (we use our own product!).‍Culture: A mission-driven environment focused on financial empowerment, innovation, and collaborative growth.
