Intelligent Automation Business Analyst @ CGI

Robotic Process Automation Analyst

CGI Federal is currently seeking an experienced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst to support a large Department of Homeland Security program. This role will primarily focus on front end RPA/automation analysis, including conducting discovery sessions with DHS customers, mapping processes, identifying automation candidates, assessing feasibility, and translating operational challenges into clear requirements. The role partners with an existing RPA developer who handles build and deployment. You will help determine whether something should be automated not necessarily build the automation yourself.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct discovery sessions with DHS stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and opportunities
  • Perform automation assessments including feasibility, complexity scoring, and value analysis
  • Document current state and future state workflows
  • Translate operational needs into clear, concise requirements
  • Work with the RPA developer to hand off validated, well defined automation candidates
  • Identify creative, innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual workloads
  • Support light testing and validation of automated solutions
  • Partner with business and technical teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Due to government contract and clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required.
  • 35 years in business analysis, process analysis, or workflow optimization
  • Experience conducting discovery sessions and eliciting requirements from non technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with RPA concepts (not necessarily deep development experience)
  • Experience evaluating processes for automation potential
  • Strong communication skills and comfort leading discussions with federal stakeholders
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed
