Estimator

The role of Construction Estimator is to prepare, estimate, and analyze all costs of construction projects, including time, materials, labor, and budget. Core Responsibilities Research and gather information: Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints. Visit construction sites to learn about the project and obtain client requirements. Evaluate offers: Compare bids from suppliers and contractors. Prepare estimates: Calculate the cost of materials, labor, and time. Create proposals: Write up budgets, reports, and project plans. Collaborate with architects, project managers, engineers, and contractors. Identify cost‑saving opportunities. Manage documentation: Maintain files of working documents, including price lists and sales brochures. Follow up with clients: Provide updates on budgets and proposals. Qualifications Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving. Strong attention to detail. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Experience with Procore (preferred). Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, or estimating software. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
