Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for retail and healthcare construction projects.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines.
Source and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
Assist in preparing bid proposals and presenting them to stakeholders.
Track project costs and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates and projects.

A successful Junior Estimator should have:

A background in construction, specifically related to retail or healthcare projects.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accurate cost estimations.
Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
