Responsibilities Assist crew members with the application of thermoplastic pavement markings on roadways and parking lots Operate and maintain thermoplastic application equipment under supervision Prepare surfaces for marking, including cleaning and layout measurements Follow traffic control procedures and maintain a safe work zone on active roadways Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from crew vehicles Learn proper handling and melting of thermoplastic materials Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company guidelines Requirements No prior experience required — willingness to learn thermoplastic application techniques is a must Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active roadways Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude Valid driver's license preferred Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Willingness to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed About Us CROSS X SB AND S INC is a trusted pavement marking and striping company serving the Plano, TX area and beyond.
