LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.ResponsibilitiesSummary of Duties: Lead electrical design projects for commercial and municipal clients including facilities assessments and with a focus on higher ed and office/municipal buildingsLead engineer in designing, analyzing, and developing electrical systems for commercial, residential and industrial projects.Collaborate with senior engineers to create electrical plans, specifications, and calculations.Producing contract drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.Conduct field visits to record existing conditions, assess project progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications.Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations to design solutions.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering power design.QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).5-10 years of experience.Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft products, and electrical design tools.Capability to work on multiple projects.Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of electrical engineering.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.Ability to mentor junior level electrical engineers.Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from project manager and produce the expected results.Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure.We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.Competitive Total Compensation PackageEmployee-Only Stock Purchase PlanMentoring programsContinuing Education ProgramEmployee referral bonusVolunteer/Industry association opportunitiesOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
