EVS Supervisor

Responsibilities Act in the absence of and be accountable to the EVS shift manager. Coordinate daily environmental services with all others. Identify and take appropriate/necessary action to resolve environmental issues or concerns. Have computer skills with some knowledge of computerized time management. Follow the cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). Clean assigned areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to established Environmental Services procedures and standards. Inspect furnishings for wear and defects and report findings to facilities. Replenish supplies and report supply and equipment needs to supervisor. Report any change in habits or physical appearance of a team member to supervisor. Use resources effectively and efficiently. Participate in the development and delivery of departmental in‑service training. Complete any other duties as necessary or appropriate, or as assigned. Qualifications Minimum age 21 years. At least 3 years experience in housekeeping and at least 1 year of supervisory or management experience. Knowledge of general housekeeping methods and equipment. Ability to lead and assist in the oversight of environmental services. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with other shifts. Good motor coordination and manual dexterity for lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving equipment and supplies. Ability to work flexible hours if needed. Ability to perform essential job junctions.
