CNC Mill Machinist

Long Term – Potential Temp to Hire

Location: Escondido, CA

Responsibilities Include:

· Set Up and operation for CNC Mill Machinist role

· Efficiently set-up and operate CNC machine

· Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools

· Read and interpret drawings / blueprints and perform in-process inspections

· Read GD&T symbols and develop appropriate machining methods

· Work and communicate well with others

· Follows safety procedures

Requirements Include:

· 2+ years of experience as a setup machinist on CNC Mills

· Ability to use inspections tools to verify part conformance

· Organized and possess good computer skills

· Strong computer and math skills

· Excellent technical and analytical skills

· Great attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Highly developed concentration and precision

· Knowledge of Okuma Controls – Haas, Fadal or Fanus - Desired

Physical Requirements:

· Standing 5+ Hours a day

· Walking 1-5 hours a week

· Bending , kneeling, crouching, reaching and stretching hands and arms

· Ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials up to 50 Lbs, but mostly using mechanical assistance especially for large items or weights exceeding this weight limit

· Wear protective clothing or equipment as required including safety glasses, ear protection – cut resistant gloves and steel toed boots.

Compensation: $24-$34 Hr. - DOE
