Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll be working on-site at a single school location, primarily servicing elementary-aged students, with room for assignment preferences where possible.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida ESE certification
• Florida K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification
• Prior experience working in a self-contained classroom setting
• Strong ability to tailor instructional strategies to diverse learning needs
• Fingerprinting required, with prior prints considered if available through Florida’s AHCA Clearinghouse
• Success in a pre-hire virtual prescreen interview

Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction in self-contained ESE classroom for elementary students
• Adapt curriculum and lessons to accommodate each student’s unique abilities and IEP requirements
• Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and families
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
• Participate in professional development and school-based meetings as required

Enjoy the stability of a full school year assignment, working 35 hours per week across a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (7 hours per day). You will be supported throughout credentialing, with guidance on background checks, eligibility interviews, and onboarding.
