Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You will work a consistent 35-hour week (7 hours per day) at a single school location—primarily serving elementary students, though efforts can be made to match your school level preference. The focus will be on meeting diverse needs across varying learning levels and exceptionalities, helping every child reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida ESE certification required
• K–6 or PK–3 General Education certification also required
• Previous experience teaching in a self-contained setting is essential
• Familiarity with Florida school district fingerprinting requirements (or willingness to complete if needed)
• Enthusiasm for supporting students with varied exceptionalities
• Ready to complete a time-sensitive credentialing process, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge application

Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction and adapt curriculum for students in a self-contained ESE classroom
• Develop individualized education plans and provide targeted support
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
