Overview Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech performing general, vascular, OB/GYN, small parts, and pediatric ultrasound exams in a travel hospital setting in Cambridge, MA. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,952–$3,171 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10‑hour day shifts, 4 days per week Start date: 08/03/2026 Setting: Travel assignment in a hospital environment EMR experience preferred: EPIC Responsibilities Perform general ultrasound examinations and be proficient in small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), OB/GYN (fetal survey across trimesters), and pediatrics (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception). Conduct inpatient and outpatient ultrasound exams within Radiology; complete department tasks and ensure high‑quality imaging. Accurately document and communicate findings; contribute to preliminary reports and coordinate with radiologists and clinical teams. Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures; manage busy workflow and adapt to multi‑site coverage as needed. Operate and optimise ultrasound equipment, adhere to policy and protocol, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements 3+ years of ultrasound experience in the specialty. ARDMS RDMS certification required at submission. AHA BLS certification required at submission. Proficiency in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular, OB/GYN (fetal survey), and pediatrics. Flu vaccine required during season. EMR experience preferred (EPIC). Flexibility to float to multiple area sites as needed.
