Software Engineer (Kafka)

Full Stack Engineer (Kafka)Location: Durham, NC, Boston, MA, Merrimack, NH, Jersey City, NJ, Westlake, TXDuration: Long Term ContractJava/Spring Boot for API integration and development. AWS for cloud hosting and platform integration for different services being offered.Angular/TypeScript experience for UI focused workKafka knowledge and exposure to event streaming is neededRequirement:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.Experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms8+ years of demonstrable experience in implementing Java solutionsProficiency with Angular 2+Practical experience delivering and supporting modern web and data solutions.Experience in REST based web services development using different frameworks (e.g. Spring boot, JAX-RS, Node JS)JIRA and Agile tools related experience preferred5+ years working in an Agile Scrum environment, with ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams.Experience in top down development of REST based API’s using Open API SpecificationProven experience in JAVA Programming Language (Java 1.8+)Strong programming, debugging and secure software development skills (e.g. Veracode, Sonar etc.
