Anesthesiology PhysicianLoyal Source Government Services is looking for three full-time Board-Certified Anesthesiology Physicians to provide services to the Salem VA Medical Center located in Salem, VA.Job Summary: Anesthesiology Physicians must be efficient, motivated, focus on patient care with our Veteran population. Anesthesiology Physicians are expected to maintain a high degree of accurate productivity and performance while working with our VA community at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. They're required to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and consistent care to individuals.Pay Rate: $281.93 / hrDuties:Provide comprehensive clinical anesthesiology services including patients undergoing cardiac surgery, orthopedic joint replacement and major vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic and ophthalmologic operations.Provide clinical care of patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, electrophysiology, gastrointestinal and radiological suites.· Provide primary coverage for all patients in the surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management services, diagnostic trans esophageal echocardiography for medical and surgical patients, and emergency airway management.· Provide consultative services at the patient's bedside if the patient is not ambulatory, and in the clinic setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic· Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Anesthesiology clinical or surgical patients.· Mechanisms must be in place to provide notification of test results for patients receiving care in accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients.Qualifications:Must have a BLS or ACLS from the American Heart AssociationHold an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of ColumbiaMinimum of 2 years of experience in the fieldMust be a Board-Certified Anesthesia PhysicianMust have proof of Medical Liability InsuranceShift:· Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.· Required: Must be available on call during all hours when the facility clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.oStandby/On-Call-Back-Hours coverage: Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm – 7:00 amoStandby/On-Call-Back weekend coverage: Saturday 7:00 am – Monday 7:00 amoStandby/On-Call Back Holidays: 24-hour coverage: 7:00 am – 7:00 amAdditional Information:· This is a 1099 positionAbout Loyal SourceLoyal Source provides healthcare and technology solutions designed to improve outcomes and support mission-critical operations.
