Behavior Technician

Behavioral TechnicianThis position is designed as an entry level role. Under the close supervision by a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, the BT will implement behavioral reduction or treatment plans for individuals with behavioral-based developmental disorders.Working under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, implements treatment plans meant to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills.Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.Maintains client confidentiality and client dignity.Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.Ensures that all treatments provided follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.Ability to work individually and as part of a team.Detailed oriented and proficient oral and written communication skills.The above reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.Knowledge: Theoretical or practical understanding of a subject acquired and increases through on the job training.Skills: The proficiencies developed through training, practice, or experience.Abilities: The level and quality of being able to do something improved with training and experienceMission First We exist to serve the developmental disabilities community.Excellence Always We strive for excellence in all we do.Team Together We are ONE team, all together, for our mission.Minimum Job Qualifications:Education: High School DiplomaExperience: Some understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)Lic or Cert Ability: To obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 45 days of hire.BLC123
