Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Operations Quality Engineer will provide quality engineering support to Raytheon programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.What You Will DoUse critical thinking resources and methods to improve product design; minimize inspection; resolve manufacturing defects/problems; complete such specialized quality functions as data preparation, analyses, and reporting.Perform product and process audits for compliance to various standards and product requirements.Coordinate resolution of nonconforming material with Engineering and Production Control teams.Support Optical process improvements initiatives.Support implementation of product Quality Control Plans Lead and support root cause and corrective action activitiesAct on all applicable material, product and equipment alerts to prevent impact to product reliability using the nonconformance and/or purge processManage dropped and damaged hardware processing and incident reporting.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a BS degree in STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering or Math an two (2) years of experience in optical fabrication, inspection and handling. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
