Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.This Business Intelligence Development/Analytics Intern will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise business intelligence, data warehousing and reporting solutions. This individual will also create and maintain detailed business requirements, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for our business.Job DescriptionProjects/responsibilities could include:Responsible for requirements gathering and creating business requirement documents.Responsible for design, development, and implementation of new dashboardsResponsible for development of analytical (tabular) reportsDebug and/or optimize existing data flows and reportsResponsible for conducting unit testing and troubleshooting.Responsible for working with internal customers and IT partners to develop and analyze business intelligence requirements and suggest solutions.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data. Transform analyses into concrete, actionable recommendations to drive decision-making.Qualifications:Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related fieldUnderstanding of basic data storage and ETL methodologies and techniquesBasic Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and SQLProficient in Microsoft Office ProductsDemonstrated analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a teamClick here to learn more about a career in IT at Medline!Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The anticipated salary range for this position:$23.25 - $33.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
