Laser Operator

Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Laser Operator for our client located in North Charlotte, NC. Pay: $18-$19/hr DOE. Monday - Friday. Need to be able to train on first shift for a few weeks and the switch to 2nd shift hours. 1pm - 9pm Responsibilities of a Laser Operator: prepare production equipment for operation by making the necessary adjustments and assistance with equipment changeovers to ensure smooth transitions between production runs. Maintain quality standards by conducting first-piece and in-process production runs. Complete production control charts and analyze recordings to ensure products meet customer specifications Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems; making equipment adjustments; production and quality data; reporting needed changes. Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures (equipment, raw and in-process materials, and finished goods); reporting changes if needed. Requirements of a Laser Operator: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, routers and other production documentation Proficiency in basic math and measurements, including the use of hand-held measuring tools. Strong attention to detail Ability to operate laser equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all relevant safety protocols. Experience with Mitsubishi GX-F 10k and 16k, Bystronic 10k, Cutlite 20k fiber optic laser or Messer Plasma 4 torch PREFERRED. High school diploma or equivalent Apply Now !
